DBF September Connectivity Conference

8th September 2017, 8am – 10:30am
Coleg Cambria (Deeside Campus) – Conference Suite

This event is open to all current DBF members and individuals within the local business community. We are expecting a high level of interest in the event and have limited space so register your attendance as soon possible.

North East Wales must ensure national and international competitiveness in terms of infrastructure and connectivity and must not lag behind due to a lack of investment. As our digital dependency grows, it is evident that a fit-for-purpose digital infrastructure is essential. Businesses are increasingly concerned about their internet connectivity but connectivity is no longer simply about internet access, it underpins the entire operational capability of a business.

The DBF Connectivity conference is focused on the importance of and critical need for a robust digital infrastructure and making this fit for purpose to support North East Wales and surrounding area’s continued growth and thriving digital economy.

Connectivity is often perceived as just referring to infrastructure and transport, both of which remain extremely high up on the Flintshire County Councils agenda, as planning for the future transport links and roads to meet business growth needs is a priority. Stephen Jones, Chief Officer, Streetscene, FCC will be presenting exciting developments to improve both Transport and infrastructure and will reveal future plans for the area.
Refreshments are kindly sponsored by The Federation of Small Businesses.
