Deeside Business Forum in partnership with the British Business Bank (the Government Bank)) and Grant Thornton (a Global Accountancy & Consultancy Firm) have organised a landmark finance conference from 8:00 a.m. till 12.00, on Friday 10^th November at Coleg Cambria Deeside.

You will learn how to access private equity funds and alternative sources of loans with government guarantees.  We will have panels of nationally respected experts to listen to you and answer your questions. You will have the opportunity to network with finance providers and other businesses.

We are also very privileged that Grant Thornton’s internationally recognised economist, Schellion Horn, will be attending and speaking at the event. This event is organised to cover North Wales and North West England including Manchester and Liverpool. This is an incredibly informative event to make our business community aware that there are many other sources of innovative and alternative finances besides your local high street bank.

DBF as a not-for-profit, voluntary organisation, is determined to support our local businesses whenever possible. We have limited space at the conference hall. what we do

The support and encouragement from the Rt. Hon. Lord Jones PC from 2015 when he agreed to be President of DBF, has been pivotal to the growth and recognition of this not for profit organisation. DBF are proud to have Lord Jones as their President as his council is fundamental to the principles and ethics to support all businesses

Lord Jones has fought many successful campaigns for the business community throughout his 30 plus years as an MP and latterly as a member of the House of Lords, supporting businesses, charities and community causes by championing and giving them a voice.

Lord Jones said: “It is a privilege to work alongside DBF as the inclusiveness of the organisation welcomes and inspires all businesses to achieve their goals by instigating change for the whole business community through direct campaigns and influence activated on their behalf.

DBF is an association of businesses of all sizes who partner and support each other for the good of the whole. This has been demonstrated many times since 2015 but particularly during the Covid outbreak when the whole business community partnered and collaborated to bring their employees safely back to work, sharing experiences and best practice though virtual seminars and webinars facilitated by DBF.”
